1. Q. HOW CAN I OBTAIN A FOUR STAR PIZZA FRANCHISE?
A. Fill out and submit the franchise application form. If you qualify, then we can begin the process leading to your own FOUR STAR PIZZA franchise operation. Many excellent locations and opportunities are still available.
2. Q. WHAT IS THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE AND THE CONTINUING SERVICE AND ROYALTY FEE?
A. The initial franchise fee is €20,000 payable when the franchise agreement is signed, and the continuing service and royalty fee is 5.5% of store sales.
3. Q. HOW LONG DOES MY FRANCHISE LAST?
A. The initial term is 10 years, after which you may renew for an additional 10 year period subject to the then current franchise terms.
4. Q. AM I GIVEN TERRITORIAL PROTECTION?
A. Yes. We will mutually establish a marketing territory, adjusted to population density, income levels and marketing conditions within which you will have exclusive rights.
5. Q. DO I LEASE A PREMISES?
A. Four Star Pizza aquire the Head Lease on a property, normally for a twenty or thirty year agreement. Four Star Pizza will then sublet this property to the franchisee for the duration of the franchise agreement.
6. Q. DO I RECEIVE TRAINING FROM FOUR STAR PIZZA?
A. Yes. Franchisees must attend and successfully complete a training programme, at Four Star Pizza. The cost of this training is included in your initial franchise fee. Franchisees pay their own costs of transportation, lodging and meals.
7. Q. DO I RECEIVE ASSISTANCE IN OPENING MY FRANCHISE BUSINESS?
A. Yes. In addition to your initial training period, an Operations Specialist will work with you during the first week of business.
8. Q. WHAT FORM OF CONTINUING OPERATIONAL GUIDANCE WILL I RECEIVE?
A. First of all you will receive a Four Star Pizza Operations Manual covering the many important facets of your operations. As these manuals are updated, revisions will be made available to you.
Periodically, you will receive company notes containing useful management information and important happenings.
A continuous advisory service will be available on all promotional, operational and business problems, as well as field and technical assistance.
9. Q. DO I BUY MY FOOD INGREDIENTS AND SUPPLIES FROM YOU?
A. No. All items are purchased according to specifications.
There are specific items required by Four Star Pizza that need to be purchased from approved suppliers. Whenever possible, we shall use the combined purchasing strength of our chain to affect purchasing economics that will benefit your store and the entire operation.
10. Q. WHAT ABOUT ADVERTISING?
A. Each Four Star Pizza store contributes 3%, of its store sales for the Four Star Pizza advertising and promotional programmes. This money shall be used for the development, preparation and placement of advertisements in the Four Star Pizza Franchisee's market as a group.
11. Q. CAN I SELL MY FOUR STAR PIZZA FRANCHISE?
A. Yes. Like any other business, you can sell your operation to any buyer approved by Four Star Pizza. There is a transfer fee for administrative, legal and training expenses to effect the transfer and, if requested, we will offer your operation for sale, for a sales fee.
12. Q. HOW SOON CAN I BE IN OPERATION ONCE I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS A FRANCHISEE?
A. Since you need a suitable location prior to coming to training, we would estimate that you could be in operation within 2-4 months of signing the Franchise Agreement.
13. Q. HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO EARN?
A. Your profit and loss will depend on a number of factors, such as your area, the amount of time you spend on the job, how good a businessperson you are, and the marketing conditions. Naturally, as in any other business venture, there is no guarantee as to the success and profitability. We help minimize your risk by giving you the benefit of a well organized system and concept.
14. Q. I WOULD LIKE TO STUDY YOUR FRANCHISE AGREEMENT. WILL YOU SEND ME ONE?
A. Our franchise agreement was developed by specialist attorneys in franchising and is a valuable document which we do not indiscriminately distribute. However, once you have a personal meeting with our Representative, we will be happy to provide you with a copy of the Franchise Agreement.
15. Q. I'M READY TO GO! WHAT DO I DO?
A. First, fill out the Franchise Application Form and submit it to us. Upon receipt, you will be contacted to set up a personal meeting with our Representative.
